Susquehanna State Forest Kettle Creek Dispersed Sites
Several unofficial but tolerated dispersed sites along the creek, most with established fire rings from years of use. Sites range from creek-side spots perfect for fishing camp to higher spots back in the trees. Creek provides water source but filter required. Sites can handle small RVs and truck campers, though the road gets narrow. Popular with anglers during trout season.
Follow Forest Road 2001 from Cross Fork for about 4 miles. Road is maintained gravel turning to dirt tracks at individual sites. Can get muddy in spring runoff. Some sites flood during heavy rains — stick to higher spots if weather looks dicey.
