Worlds End State Park Dry Creek Dispersed Area
This dispersed area sits in a secluded canyon along Dry Creek, about 3 miles from the main park facilities. Half a dozen unmarked sites scattered through mixed hardwoods, each with decent spacing for privacy. Natural swimming holes carved into the bedrock make this a summer favorite, though the creek runs shallow by late August. Fire rings present at most sites, but bring your own grate. Gets busy on summer weekends with locals who know the spot.
Access via a rough dirt road that branches off Canyon Vista Drive — watch for the unmarked turnoff near mile marker 2. Road can be muddy after heavy rain, but passenger cars make it in dry conditions. No facilities whatsoever, so pack everything in and out. Best avoided during hunting season in late November.
