French Creek State Park Campground

Established Campground

Massive campground with sites scattered through rolling oak forest. Mix of RV sites with hookups and primitive tent areas. Most sites can handle mid-size rigs, though the older loops have tighter turns. Hot showers, flush toilets, and a camp store with firewood and ice. Gets packed on summer weekends but quiets down significantly mid-week.

Access is via paved park roads with good clearance. Reservations essential May through October. The campground connects to 35+ miles of hiking trails and puts you within striking distance of Daniel Boone Homestead and the Schuylkill River Trail network. Fire restrictions during dry spells.
