Termas de Chillan Natural Hot Springs
Collection of natural thermal pools ranging from 38°C to 45°C, fed by volcanic springs at the base of Nevados de Chillán. Multiple stone-lined pools of varying temperatures surrounded by native lenga forest. Day use facilities include changing rooms and a small café, but the real draw is soaking trail-weary muscles in mineral-rich waters.
Located at the end of a winding mountain road from Chillán, about 80km east. Road can be rough in spots but manageable for most vehicles. Busiest on weekends and Chilean holidays. Small entrance fee. Pools operate year-round, though access road may be challenging in heavy winter snow.
