Little River State Park Campground
Little River State Park sits on 300 acres along the Little River southeast of Idabel, offering 51 RV sites with full hookups plus primitive tent areas. The campground spreads through mature hardwoods with paved roads, modern restrooms with showers, and a dump station. Sites are well-spaced with picnic tables and fire rings — sites 30-40 along the river offer the best privacy and water views.
The park makes a solid base camp for running trails in the Ouachita Mountains to the north or exploring the Red River backcountry. Reservations recommended for weekends during spring and fall. The river runs shallow most of the year but offers decent swimming holes and canoe access during higher water periods.
