Allegheny National Forest Dewdrop Campground
Dewdrop Campground hugs the eastern shore of Allegheny Reservoir with 74 sites ranging from lakefront to wooded hillside locations. The campground features flush toilets, hot showers, and potable water, making it more developed than most forest service offerings. Sites include picnic tables and fire rings, with several offering direct water views. The adjacent boat launch and swimming beach make this popular with families during summer months.
Located off Route 59 near Kinzua Dam — paved access all the way to the campground entrance. Reservations strongly recommended May through September as lakefront sites book early. Open May through mid-October, with some facilities closing after Labor Day.
