Hyner Run State Park Campground
This intimate 30-site campground sits in a narrow valley along Hyner Run, offering a mix of wooded sites with fire rings and picnic tables. Most sites are spacious enough for larger rigs, with electric hookups available. Clean restrooms with hot showers and a small camp store for essentials. The park attracts hang gliders to the nearby Hyner View overlook, creating an interesting mix of visitors.
Access via PA Route 120 is straightforward with no clearance issues. The campground serves as an excellent base for exploring Pine Creek Gorge (Pennsylvania Grand Canyon) trails just 20 minutes south. Open April through October with reservations recommended for summer weekends. Limited cell service in the valley.
