This deep cenote sits right off the main road near Bacalar with remarkably clear blue water and easy access for overlanders. Natural limestone platform makes for perfect swimming and the water stays cool year-round. Small palapa provides shade for gear. Gets crowded on weekends but weekdays are usually mellow.
Parking area handles big rigs without issue. No facilities but the town of Bacalar is just 10 minutes away for resupply. Water level stays consistent — unlike some cenotes, this one doesn’t depend on seasonal rainfall. Locals charge a small fee for access and parking.
