Parque Nacional Torres del Paine Camping Las Torres

Established Campground

Camping Las Torres sits at the foot of the iconic granite towers that define Torres del Paine, offering 60 sites in a valley carved by glacial runoff. This is the launch point for the classic Base Torres hike — the 8-hour round trip to see the three granite spires up close. Sites are exposed to Patagonian winds that can flatten tents, but the views of the towers and surrounding peaks are unmatched. Facilities include hot showers, a refugio with meals, and potable water. The campground stays busy with trekkers doing the W or full circuit.

Access via Ruta 9 then park roads — all paved but watch for guanacos on the roadway. The area can see sudden weather changes any time of year. Reservations essential during peak season (December-February). Wind stakes and guy lines are not optional here — the Patagonian wind is relentless.
