Brookville Lake Dam Tailwater
The tailwater below Brookville Lake Dam provides a consistent freshwater source fed by the lake’s release structure. Clear, cold water flows year-round with good access via a short gravel path from the parking area. Popular with trout fishermen, so expect company during prime fishing hours, but plenty of room for water collection upstream from the fishing spots.
Located off Fairfield Causeway Road, about 2 miles from the main dam access. The flow varies with dam releases but never completely stops. Best access is from the east bank where a small pull-off allows parking near the water’s edge. Always filter or purify as with any natural source.
