Buck’s 4×4 — West State Street Boise Off-Road Center, Suspension, Winch and Recovery Gear
Buck’s 4×4 has been at 4100 W State Street in Boise since 1966, and it’s now in its third generation of the family. It’s a real off-road center, not a boutique. The shelves cover suspension, tires and wheels, bumpers, winches, recovery gear, Jeep parts, truck accessories and steps. There’s also a mechanic shop on site for custom builds and repairs. If you’re loading up for Idaho backcountry or heading south toward the desert, this is the kind of place where someone behind the counter has probably already run your trail.
Use it as a pre-trip stop for recovery straps, shackles, tires or a suspension refresh. Boise has a few off-road shops, and Buck’s is the old-school one. Posted hours have run weekdays plus a shorter Saturday, with Sunday closed. Verify ahead, and call before you count on a same-day install or a specific tire size on the shelf.
Have a dirty day.
