Tunnel Creek Road Trailhead
Well-maintained trailhead at the start of Forest Road 159, providing access to multiple backcountry routes in the Fraser Experimental Forest area. Large parking area accommodates truck-and-trailer combos, with vault toilets and trail information kiosk. Popular jumping-off point for Jones Pass road, Henderson Mine area, and Continental Divide crossings.
Access via Highway 40 west of Winter Park — watch for the signed turnoff. Road can be rough in early season due to snowmelt and logging traffic. No water available, but Tunnel Creek flows nearby during snowmelt season.
