Superior National Forest Bass Lake Dispersed Sites
Scattered along the south shore of Bass Lake, these dispersed sites offer quiet camping with direct water access and decent fishing for walleye and northern pike. Sites are mostly pull-through with room for rigs up to 25 feet, though you’ll want to scout first as some spots are tight. Fire rings present but bring your own grate. Busy during opener weekend but otherwise sees light use.
Access via Forest Road 354 – six miles of decent gravel that can get rough after heavy rain. No facilities, no trash service. Best fishing is early morning and evening off the rocky points. Mosquitoes can be brutal June through July.
Quiet lakeside camping with fishing access.
