Sardis Lake Horse Creek Cove Dispersed Area
Horse Creek Cove offers primitive camping along the shores of Sardis Lake, tucked into a quiet inlet away from the developed campgrounds. Sites are scattered through mature hardwoods with direct lake access for fishing and swimming. No facilities except a few fire rings left by previous campers. The area can accommodate 6-8 rigs with careful spacing.
Access requires 2.5 miles on a maintained gravel road from Highway 2. The road can get rough during wet weather but remains passable for stock vehicles. Water levels fluctuate seasonally – spring and early summer offer the best lake access.
