Established 84-site campground along the Russian River, renowned for its red salmon runs and frequent black bear activity. Sites accommodate tents and RVs up to 40 feet, with fire rings, picnic tables, and vault toilets. Extremely busy during salmon runs (mid-June through July) — arrive early or expect full capacity. Bear boxes provided at each site due to heavy bear activity.
Access via Sterling Highway with paved campground roads. Reservations strongly recommended during fishing season. Popular with both RV families and tent campers. The adjacent Russian River Falls trail offers excellent wildlife viewing but requires bear awareness.
