Pilot Travel Center Meridian East
This Pilot sits right at the major interstate junction where most overlanders hit Meridian en route to Okatibbee Creek WMA or the Tombigbee National Forest trails. Full diesel and gas islands, clean restrooms, and a decent selection of road food including Subway and fried chicken. Truck parking area works fine for rigs with trailers, though it gets busy during peak trucking hours.
Easy on/off from either interstate, open 24/7, and staff used to seeing dusty rigs coming back from the woods. Good last fuel stop before heading into the national forest areas where stations get sparse.
Major truck stop at the I-20/I-59 junction
