Naches Tiger Prairie Campground — Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest

Established Campground

Tiger Prairie sits in the drier eastern fringe of the Okanogan-Wenatchee, where ponderosa pines open up and the Naches drainage flattens before the canyon narrows. It’s a small, quiet site with basic amenities — vault toilets, fire rings, and enough elbow room between sites to feel like backcountry without the total lack of infrastructure. Expect the place to fill on summer weekends but stay quiet midweek. Fire restrictions hit hard here in late summer — check with the Naches Ranger District before you show up with a bundle of wood.

Access off US-12 is paved to the turnoff, with a short gravel run in. High-clearance isn’t required but a tow vehicle with decent clearance will be more comfortable on the approach road. Season typically runs late May through October depending on snowpack and road conditions.
