Lapie Lakes Territorial Campground — Campbell Highway
Lapie Lakes Territorial Campground sits on the Campbell Highway east of Ross River, set among spruce and poplar on the shores of a narrow boreal lake system. It’s one of the quieter Yukon territorial sites — pit toilets, fire rings, picnic tables, and a hand boat launch. Expect solitude most nights outside of July. The lake holds grayling and lake trout, and the surrounding country feeds into the Pelly Mountains drainage that rigs on Ketza River Road know well.
Road access is straightforward — gravel highway pull-off, no technical driving required. The Campbell Highway itself can be rough and washboard-heavy depending on season and maintenance cycle; verify road conditions before committing. No treated water — bring your own or filter from the lake. Cell service absent. Open May to September.
