Lake Murray State Park Campground
Spread across rolling hills overlooking Lake Murray, this historic state park offers 96 RV sites with full hookups plus tent camping areas scattered through oak and hickory forests. The park features a classic 1930s stone lodge, marina, and beach area, making it a solid base for exploring the nearby Arbuckle Mountains. Sites vary from lakefront premium spots to wooded interior loops, with most accommodating large rigs.
Located just south of Ardmore off I-35, it’s perfectly positioned for overlanders heading to Turner Falls or exploring the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. The park can get busy on summer weekends, but weekday visits usually guarantee availability. Marina fuel available seasonally.
