Lac La Hache — Husky Station Highway 97 Resupply

Lac La Hache sits on Highway 97 in the heart of BC’s Cariboo region and the Husky station here is a known stop for overlanders running the Taseko River FSR, Likely Road, or any of the backcountry routes west into the Chilcotin plateau. You’ll find fuel (gas and diesel), a convenience store, and basic snacks. The town itself has a small grocery option nearby if you need to top up food stores before heading into the bush. It’s nothing flashy — just a working highway stop that keeps rigs rolling.

If you’re westbound toward Taseko Lake or southbound toward Lillooet via the Cariboo, this is the last easy fuel before things get thin. Verify diesel availability before arriving if you’re running a heavy rig on a long loop — services in small BC towns can change seasonally.
