Perched on a ridge with commanding views across the Sierra Nevada, this 26-site campground fills up fast during peak season. Sites are well-spaced among pinyon pines and sagebrush, most accommodating rigs up to 22 feet. The elevation keeps things cooler than valley floors, but also means early and late season closures due to snow.
Access via White Mountain Road — paved but steep in sections. Water and vault toilets available, but no hookups or dump station. Reserve early or arrive midweek. A solid base camp for exploring the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest or White Mountain backcountry.
