Glade Park Store — Colorado National Monument Western Gateway Resupply
Glade Park Store is a small, old-school country store sitting at the heart of the Glade Park community southwest of Grand Junction. Fuel, limited groceries, and local knowledge. If you’re staging for Rattlesnake Canyon, Black Ridge, or any of the BLM dispersed areas off DS Road, this is your last realistic fuel stop before things get remote. The folks behind the counter know the roads and they’ll tell you straight whether a route is passable or a muddy mess after recent weather.
Hours are limited — this is not a 24-hour truck stop. Verify hours before you count on it, especially on Sundays. Cell service on the plateau is spotty at best, so don’t plan on checking Google Maps once you’re past the store. Stock up on water here if you haven’t already — there are no reliable water sources on the BLM roads west of the monument.
Last fuel before the BLM backcountry bites.
