This YPF station sits at the northern edge of Cafayate, perfectly positioned for overlanders heading north on the legendary Ruta 40. Clean facilities, reliable fuel pumps, and a small convenience store stocked with road snacks and basic supplies. Gets busy on weekends when wine tourists flood the valley, but weekday service is quick and efficient.

Stock up here before continuing north — the next guaranteed fuel is in Cachi, nearly 160km away through some of Argentina’s most spectacular but remote high-altitude terrain. Station operates standard hours but fuel availability is consistently good.
