Bushkill Falls Main Falls Trailhead

Trailhead

The most accessible waterfall in the Poconos starts from this well-maintained trailhead near the Delaware Water Gap. A wide, mostly flat trail leads 0.8 miles through towering hemlocks to the main falls, which drops 100 feet into a deep pool. The trail surface is gravel and boardwalks, suitable for most visitors. Multiple viewing platforms offer different perspectives of the cascade.

Parking fills up fast on weekends and holidays — arrive early or expect to wait. The falls run strongest in spring and after heavy rains. Winter access can be icy but the frozen falls are spectacular. This is a private park with an entrance fee, but the infrastructure is excellent and the trail system extends to eight different waterfalls if you want more adventure.
