Decommissioned Forest Service fire lookout towers that are now available for overnight rental — usually through recreation.gov in the western US. Most are remote, drive-in or short-hike accessible, and rent for $40-$75/night. Book months in advance. Includes only towers that are actually available to camp in; active fire-watch towers and historical-only sites are tagged as Points of Interest instead.
