Campsite Ardmair — Loch Kanaird Shore Camp
Ardmair Point Caravan and Camping sits on the rocky shore of Loch Kanaird just north of Ullapool, giving you direct loch access, hot showers, and a view across to the Summer Isles that few established sites in Scotland can match. It’s a proper campsite — hook-ups, toilets, a small laundry — without the soul getting squeezed out of it. Runs from March through October and is popular with overlanders using Ullapool as a base for Coigach, Assynt, and the Torridon circuit.
About 5 miles north of Ullapool on the A835. Ullapool itself has a Spar, fuel, CalMac ferry connections to Stornoway, and a solid pub or two. Book ahead in July and August — this one fills up. Road access is paved all the way.
Loch-front staging for northwest Scotland.
