Ennis — Esso Clare Road Fuel and West Ireland Resupply
Ennis is the county town of Clare and the main resupply node for anyone running west into the Burren karst plateau, south toward Kilkee and Loop Head, or north to the Cliffs of Moher. Multiple fuel stations operate here — the Esso on the N18 Clare Road corridor is the most practical for rigs coming in from Limerick or the M18. Stock up on groceries at the SuperValu or Dunnes Stores on the ring road. This is the last reliable diesel, gas cylinder, and grocery run before roads get narrow and service thins out considerably.
Ennis itself is a busy market town — traffic through the centre is a pain with a long-wheelbase setup, so use the ring road and stay out of the medieval core unless you need something specific. ATMs, pharmacy, and outdoor/camping basics available. Cell service is full throughout. Decent enough for a night in a layby on the outskirts if you’re staging an early start west.
Last full resupply before the Burren goes wild.
