Petro-Canada Terrace — Highway 16 Fuel and Resupply
Terrace is the last real town before overlanders peel off into the Colander Creek FSR / Doreen–Kitimat River backcountry or continue northwest toward the Cassiar Highway junction. The Petro-Canada on Highway 16 runs regular and diesel, has a convenience store, and sits close enough to a grocery store and hardware options to make a proper resupply run worth your time. Stock up here — fuel options thin out fast once you leave pavement.
Terrace sits at the confluence of the Skeena and Kitimat Rivers and gets consistent rain — check your gear seals before you roll out. The town has a Canadian Tire for basic parts. Cell service is solid in town, gone the moment you hit the FSRs east or south.
Last real fuel before the Kitimat backcountry.
