Petro Canada Smithers — Main Street Fuel and Resupply
Smithers sits on Highway 16 and is the logical resupply hub for anyone running the Powder Mountain to Hudson Bay Mountain route or pushing north toward Dease Lake. Petro-Canada on Main Street has diesel and unleaded, and the town around it covers groceries, propane, hardware, and basic vehicle supplies. It’s a real working town, not a tourist trap — locals and loggers use this place daily, which means the shelves stay stocked.
If you’re staging for multi-day backcountry runs into the Bulkley Range or Babine Mountains, top up here before heading up the FSRs. Cell service is solid in town but drops fast once you climb into the drainages. Stock up on food and water here — resupply options thin out considerably once you leave pavement.
Last diesel before the Bulkley backcountry.
