Tweedsmuir Provincial Park South — Stillwater Lake Campground

Established Campground

Stillwater Lake Campground is a small, no-frills BC Parks site tucked inside Tweedsmuir Provincial Park South — the same massive wilderness block you’re threading when running the Anahim Lake to Tweedsmuir Park South Boundary Road. Sites are walk-in or short pull-ins, with fire rings and basic pit toilets. The lake reflection at dusk is the kind of thing that makes you forget you had anywhere else to be. Low traffic mid-week, busier in July and August with hunters and horse packers.

Access is via the Atnarko River Road / Tweedsmuir South corridor. High-clearance is advisable; the road gets rough after rain. No drinking water — treat from the lake. No reservations, first-come only. Check BC Parks for any active fire bans before you light up.

Quiet lake camp on the Tweedsmuir corridor.
