Bushkill Falls
This privately-owned natural attraction features Pennsylvania’s most impressive waterfall dropping 100 feet through a rocky gorge. Eight marked trails range from the easy 15-minute walk to Main Falls to the strenuous 2-mile Red Trail hitting all major cascades. Well-maintained boardwalks and bridges, but expect crowds on summer weekends. Admission fee required.
Located in the Pocono Mountains off US Route 209. The access road is paved but narrow in spots. Trails can be muddy after rain, and some sections have steep grades with handrails. Open April through October, weather permitting.
