Camping Municipal Cafayate
Simple municipal campground with grassy sites and basic facilities in the heart of Cafayate, the wine capital of Salta province. Sites have picnic tables and access to clean bathrooms with hot showers. Gets busy during harvest season (February-March) and long weekends when Argentine tourists flood the wine country. Fire rings available but wood must be purchased in town.
Located just three blocks from the main plaza, within easy walking distance of wineries, restaurants, and the colorful rock formations museum. The campground fills up quickly during festivals, so arrive early or have a backup plan. No reservations — first come, first served.
