Termas de Puyehue Natural Hot Springs
These natural thermal pools sit in dense temperate rainforest about 80km east of Osorno. Multiple pools at different temperatures, from barely warm to scalding. The setting is dramatic—thick canopy overhead, ferns everywhere, and the sound of rushing water from nearby streams. Day use runs around 15,000 CLP. Gets crowded on weekends with Santiago folks, but weekdays are mellow.
Access via a good paved road from Ruta 215. The resort has accommodations but day use is what most overlanders want. Open year-round, though winter can be soggy. Bring towels and expect to smell like sulfur for hours afterward.
