Simple camping area at about 1,200m elevation on the lower slopes of Volcán Osorno. Maybe 20 sites scattered in light forest with direct volcano views when clear. Basic pit toilets, no showers, no hookups. Sites are just cleared dirt patches but level enough for most rigs. Fire rings present but check current restrictions. Costs around 8,000 CLP per night. Popular with Chilean families in summer.
Access via Ruta 225 then a short gravel spur. Road is fine for any vehicle in dry conditions but can get muddy in winter rains. No reservations—first come basis. Great launching point for volcano hikes or exploring the lake district. Nights get chilly even in summer.
