Love’s Travel Stop Lubbock I-27
Full-service truck stop at the I-27 and 50th Street interchange serving the South Plains region. Eight diesel bays handle big rigs and heavy trailers, with DEF at the pumps and propane fill station on the north side. The store stocks basic camping supplies, ice, firewood bundles, and surprisingly good breakfast burritos made fresh. Plenty of parking for truck-trailer combos, and the staff knows the local back roads if you need directions to the Caprock.
This is the last major fuel for 60+ miles if you’re heading west toward the escarpment trails or south toward Big Spring. The area can see sudden weather changes — dust storms in spring, ice storms in winter. Check conditions before heading out to the more remote Llano Estacado country. Clean restrooms and decent coffee make this a solid staging point.
