Dingmans Ferry Delaware Water Gap Dispersed Area

A handful of pull-offs and flat spots along the Delaware River near Dingmans Ferry offer dispersed camping with river access for fishing and water collection. Sites are basic gravel and dirt clearings that can handle rigs up to about 30 feet, though longer vehicles may struggle with turnarounds. Fire rings are present at most spots but bring your own firewood. Busy summer weekends see competition for the better sites.

Access is via paved River Road with short dirt spurs to individual sites. Some spots flood during high water periods in spring. No facilities or trash service — pack it out. Cell service is spotty along the river corridor.
