Keystone State Park Campground
Keystone State Park sits on a damned section of Cross Creek, creating a 78-acre lake surrounded by mixed hardwood forest. The campground offers 100 sites split between electric hookup sites and primitive tent areas, with most sites level enough for RVs up to 40 feet. Flush restrooms, hot showers, and a camp store handle the basics. The lake allows small boats and kayaks — decent fishing for bass and panfish.
Access is straightforward via paved roads from US Route 22. The park stays busy during summer weekends but quiets down considerably midweek and in shoulder seasons. Sites can be reserved online through the PA state park system. Open April through October, though primitive camping is available year-round for the hardy.
