Laurel Hill State Park Campground
Laurel Hill sits on the shores of a 63-acre mountain lake at 2,400 feet elevation in the Laurel Highlands. The 30-site campground offers modern facilities including flush toilets, hot showers, and electric hookups at most sites. The lake has a sandy beach and boat launch — no motors over 10hp. Sites are well-spaced in mixed hardwood forest, with a few lakefront spots that book up fast during summer weekends.
Access is straightforward via paved roads from Somerset. The campground operates May through October, though the lake can get busy with day-use visitors on warm weekends. Sites 15-20 have the best lake views but catch more foot traffic from beach-goers.
