Allegheny National Forest Minister Creek Campground

Established Campground

Minister Creek sits in a secluded valley about 20 miles northeast of Warren, offering 6 primitive sites in dense second-growth forest. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table, with vault toilets and a hand pump well for water. The campground connects directly to the Minister Creek Trail and provides access to the broader ANF trail network. Sites are well-separated and can handle medium-sized RVs, though the narrow forest road requires careful driving.

Access via Forest Road 246 from Route 666 — about 8 miles of winding gravel road through thick forest. The road can be rough after heavy rains but is generally passable for most vehicles. Open May through October, with peak season during hunting season when sites fill up fast.
