Kettle Creek State Park Campground

Established Campground

Perched on a ridge above Kettle Creek Lake, this 72-site campground offers a mix of electric and non-electric sites spread across forested loops. The lake is stocked with trout and bass, with a concrete boat ramp and small swimming beach. Sites vary from open lakefront spots to secluded forest sites tucked into the woods. Flush toilets, showers, and a dump station make this more developed than typical state forest camps. Summer weekends book up fast.

The campground sits at 1,900 feet elevation in Clinton County’s mountains, about 45 minutes from any major town. Roads are paved all the way in. Open year-round but water is shut off in winter. Reservations accepted for peak season but many sites stay first-come, first-served.
