Sinclair Dinosaur Station Vernal
This 24-hour Sinclair sits right on US-40 as you roll into Vernal, making it the obvious fuel stop before heading into Dinosaur country or the Uinta Mountains. Twelve pumps including diesel, plus a convenience store stocked with more road food than you’d expect in a town this size. The attached McDonald’s stays open late, and there’s usually space for big rigs to park overnight if you’re discrete about it.
Popular with monument visitors, rafters heading to Gates of Lodore, and hunters bound for the Ashley National Forest. Gets busy during peak tourist season (June through September) but rarely has lines. Credit cards accepted at all pumps.
