Cache River Natural Spring
This natural spring bubbles up from limestone bedrock, feeding the Cache River with crystal-clear water even during dry spells. The spring sits about 100 yards off Cypress Creek Road via a short footpath through bottomland forest. Flow rate varies but it’s reliable enough that locals have used it for generations. Bring a filtration system and something to collect with — no infrastructure here.
Access is via a rough gravel road that can get muddy after rain. Spring is on private land but public access is traditional and tolerated. Best accessed fall through early spring when the swamp is drier and mosquitoes are manageable.
