Pemex Santa Rosalía Centro
The central Pemex station in Santa Rosalía sits on the main drag through town, offering both gasoline and diesel fuel with relatively modern pumps. The station includes a convenience store stocked with basic road food, cold drinks, and automotive fluids. Propane fills are available during business hours, and there’s usually an attendant who speaks some English. Credit cards are accepted, though cash moves things faster.
Santa Rosalía itself deserves a stop — the town features French colonial architecture from its copper mining days, including a church supposedly designed by Gustave Eiffel. The bakery across from the Pemex serves excellent French bread, a legacy from the original French miners. This is the last reliable fuel for 80 kilometers heading south toward Mulegé.
