Kabetogama Lake Public Water Access
Primary water access point for Kabetogama Lake, the largest lake in Voyageurs National Park. Concrete boat ramp handles everything from canoes to 20-foot fishing boats, with a dock system and loading area. The lake stretches 25 miles east-west with crystal-clear water perfect for filtering or treating. Small parking area fills fast during walleye season (May-June) and summer weekends.
Located right off Gamma Road, 12 miles northeast of International Falls. Facilities include vault toilets and a fish cleaning station. No camping at the launch itself, but connects to the extensive backcountry camping system throughout Voyageurs. Water levels can drop significantly in late summer drought years.
