Namib Off-Road Centre
Namib Off-Road Centre is the place to sort your rig before you push into the Namib. It’s a big shop for 4×4 equipment and camping gear, with a fitment bay and a workshop that leans hard on suspension. The business says it started in 2007. An overlander on iOverlander reported a broken U-bolt and spring fixed in their workshop, and said the crew also handle general mechanical work. Expect suspension, canopies, accessories, fabrication and camp kit. Fridges, recovery gear and the odds and ends you forgot are usually the easy part.
It sits in Walvis Bay, next to a Total petrol station. They moved from the older Sam Nujoma Avenue address that still turns up in some directories, so confirm the current location before you drive across town. Walvis Bay is the natural jumping-off point for Sandwich Harbour, the Skeleton Coast and the Swakopmund run. Call ahead for stock, fitment slots and hours. Review scores are mixed, so ask about turnaround before you hand over keys. Have a dirty day.
