Misty Meadows Campground — Naikoon Provincial Park

Misty Meadows sits at the north end of Naikoon Provincial Park near Agate Beach, roughly 26 km north of Tlell on the gravel Tow Hill Road. It’s a proper BC Parks campground with defined sites tucked into Sitka spruce and shore pine — close enough to the beach that you can hear the surf at night. The campground gets busy in July and August when families and kayakers roll through, but shoulder season is dead quiet. Fire rings are standard; firewood is available for purchase on-site when the host is present.

Access is via the Tow Hill Road, which is good gravel all the way from Masset — any 2WD can handle it. The campground is the logical eastern staging point for the Cape Fife hike and a solid base for exploring the entire northeast corner of Graham Island. No hookups, no showers, pit toilets only. Water is available on-site. Cell service is nonexistent — budget for that.
