Waterbury State Park
This 174-acre state park sits on the shoreline of Little River Reservoir, offering 28 sites split between wooded spots and open lakeside locations. The shower house stays warm even in shoulder season, and the boat launch makes for easy water access. Sites are spacious enough for larger rigs, though the loops can get tight for 30+ foot setups.
Open May through mid-October, with reservations strongly recommended July-September. The park sits right off Route 100, making it a convenient staging point for Somerset Reservoir runs or day trips into the Worcester Range. Cell service is decent throughout most of the campground.
Lakeside base camp with hot showers and trail access.
