Cold Hollow Cider Mill

This working cider mill doubles as a solid resupply stop right on the Route 100 corridor, with fuel, fresh cider donuts, basic groceries, and local maple syrup. The place gets busy with leaf peepers in fall, but it’s a reliable stop year-round for overlanders heading up to Smugglers’ Notch or the Worcester Range. Good parking for larger rigs out back.

Located just south of Stowe village, it’s perfectly positioned for accessing the northern Vermont trail systems. The cider operation runs September through November, but the store and fuel stay open all year. Stock up here before heading into the backcountry—next services can be sparse once you’re committed to the mountain routes.
