Valley Forge National Historical Park Campground
This National Park Service campground sits within the 3,500-acre Valley Forge National Historical Park, offering 75 sites with electric hookups, restrooms, and showers. The campground provides a solid base for exploring Philadelphia-area trails while soaking up serious American history — Washington’s Continental Army wintered here during 1777-78. Sites are level and well-spaced among mature hardwoods, with good cell coverage and proximity to the visitor center.
Open year-round with reservations recommended March through October. The park’s 26 miles of paved and gravel trails connect to regional trail networks. No fires allowed except in designated grills. Ten minutes to King of Prussia for major resupply, 25 minutes to downtown Philadelphia.
Revolutionary War history meets modern camping convenience.
