Tony’s Auto Repair
Located at 215 W Trail St in downtown Dodge City, this family-run shop has been serving overlanders and locals since 2012. Tony gets rigs in fast — one customer got brake work done the same day at a third of what other shops quoted. They handle everything from brake replacements to alternator swaps and A/C repairs. The shop runs Monday-Saturday 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, closed Sundays.
Tony’s also does roadside assistance and towing — one stranded traveler called them “outstanding” after Tony personally showed up for a breakdown outside town. While some reviews mention towing delays, most praise the honest pricing and no-nonsense approach. Call ahead to verify hours (620-338-8602) as they can get busy with local fleet work.
